BIR Extends Tax Amnesty Availment Deadline in the Philippines

The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) issued the Revenue Memorandum Circular (RMC) No. 33-2020 declaring the extended deadline of availment of the Tax Amnesty on Delinquencies from April 23 to May 23, 2020.

Revenue Regulations (RR) No. 5-2020, an amendment to RR No. 4-2020, modified the duration of Tax Amnesty availment to an extended period due to the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak and Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) measures in the Philippines.
