BIR Further Extends the Deadline on Availment of Tax Amnesty on Delinquencies in the Philippines

The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) releases Revenue Memorandum Circular (RMC) No. 38-2020, under the provisions of Revenue Regulations (RR) No. 4-2019 as amended by RR No. 5-2020, declaring changes on the duration for availment of Tax Amnesty on Delinquencies due to current circumstances.

Due to the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) global pandemic and the extended implementation of the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) on April 30, 2020, the BIR further extends the availment of tax amnesty on delinquencies from May 23 to June 8, 2020.
